Description
The Aviosys IP Power 9258 is a versatile 4-outlet intelligent power distribution unit (PDU) designed to provide seamless remote management of your critical devices. Each outlet supports up to 10A, with a total maximum current of 15A at 110V or 10A at 220V, accommodating a wide range of equipment. The unit is equipped with a self-protect AC reset button and manual power on/off button for added safety and convenience. Featuring an Ethernet RJ-45 port and an RS232 interface, the 9258 supports multiple network protocols, including HTTP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DDNS, SNMP v1, SMTP, NTP, and Telnet. This broad protocol support ensures compatibility with various network configurations and management systems.
The PDU offers a user-friendly web interface and HTTP API, allowing control via web browsers or custom applications. With a built-in scheduler, you can automate tasks based on a predefined timetable, enhancing operational efficiency. The Wake on LAN feature allows you to remotely wake up network devices from shutdown, provided they support WOL. Additionally, the unit supports remote control via Android and iOS apps, as well as integration with Node-RED for advanced automation.
The IP Power 9258 is compact yet powerful, making it an ideal solution for managing and monitoring your essential equipment remotely. Its advanced features and robust design help reduce downtime and save on maintenance costs.
![]() | HTTP API Command your IPPower through a user-friendly web interface, via curl from the command line, or through your own application using an HTTP GET/POST API (CGI). | ![]() | Remote Control If the CNT function is enabled, download the Android or iOS app and the Node-RED software package to control and monitor IPPower. |
![]() | Wake on LAN (WOL) IPPower allows you to remotely wake network devices from shutdown via the Wake on LAN (WOL) service. Enable the WOL service and wake devices using the MAC address list. Ensure that the target device supports WOL before applying this service. | ![]() | Shutdown on LAN (SOL) Improper shutdowns may lead to file system errors. IPPower includes resident software for PCs, enabling you to remotely shut down network devices via the Shutdown on LAN (SOL) service. You can configure IPPower to perform shutdown actions through the software and, after a delay, turn off the power. |
![]() | SNMP The SNMP feature of the IP Power 9258 allows for remote monitoring and control of power outlets through SNMP commands. This enables seamless integration with network management systems, providing status updates and remote power toggling (on/off/reset). It’s ideal for IT environments needing automated device management. | ![]() | Scheduled Tasks The task scheduler lets you run predefined actions based on a timetable. Up to 30 schedules can be configured using a web calendar for daily, weekly, or one-time tasks. When triggered, IPPower executes user-defined power actions, such as outlet on/off, power cycling, shutdown on LAN, wake on LAN, or email notifications. |
