Description
The AKCP PT100 Type Ultra Cold Sensor is a Platinum RTD-based temperature sensor, engineered for ultra-cold storage and precision monitoring. It is ideal for monitoring temperatures in cryogenic storage, pharmaceutical shipments, and cold chain logistics, including mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.
Using Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) technology, the sensor measures temperature variations by detecting changes in platinum resistance, ensuring high accuracy (±0.15°C). Designed exclusively for sensorProbe+ monitoring platforms, it provides real-time temperature tracking for sensitive applications.
The Ultra Cold Sensor connects via RJ-45 with CAT5e/6 cable and can be extended up to 18m (60ft) for flexible installation.
Key Features:
- Ultra-Low Temperature Monitoring – Measures from -200°C to +150°C (-328°F to +302°F).
- High Precision – ±0.15°C accuracy for critical applications.
- Platinum RTD Sensor – Ensures stable and reliable temperature readings.
- Network-Enabled – Connects via RJ-45 to sensorProbe+ platforms.
- Extended Cable Length – Extendable up to 18m (60ft) using CAT5e/6 cable.
- No External Power Needed – Powered directly by the sensorProbe+ base unit.
- Compact & Reliable – Manufactured with low-power surface mount technology for long-term performance.
