Description

The Aviosys IP Power 9858MT is a versatile 4-outlet intelligent power distribution unit (PDU) designed to provide seamless remote management of your critical devices. Each outlet supports up to 10A, with a total maximum current of 15A at 110V or 10A at 220V, accommodating a wide range of equipment. The unit features a robust surge suppressor circuit, ensuring protection against power surges.
Equipped with an Ethernet RJ-45 port, the 9858MT supports multiple network protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS/SSL, TCP/IP, PPPoE, DHCP, DDNS, SNMP v3, SMTP, NTP, and TLS. It also integrates with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT, and Microsoft Azure IoT, facilitating advanced IoT applications. For secure communications, Telnet/SSH is supported.
The PDU offers a user-friendly web interface and APIs, allowing control via HTTP commands or MQTT. Features like Wake on LAN enable remote startup of network devices, while Shutdown on LAN ensures proper shutdowns to prevent file system errors. The ping function monitors device connectivity, performing user-defined actions if a device becomes unresponsive.
With a built-in scheduler, you can automate tasks based on a predefined timetable, enhancing operational efficiency. The unit supports Modbus TCP client integration for system integration with SCADA tools. All events are logged and can be sent to a syslog host server for comprehensive monitoring. The 9858MT also features VPN client mode, allowing secure remote access and control within a VPN. Email notifications keep you informed of status changes, and mobile apps for Android and iOS provide convenient control on the go.
The IP Power 9858MT is compact yet powerful, making it an ideal solution for managing and monitoring your essential equipment remotely, reducing downtime, and saving on maintenance costs.
![]() | HTTP API Command your IPPower through a user-friendly web interface, via curl from the command line, or through your own application using an HTTP GET/POST API (CGI). | ![]() | MQTT API Control your IPPower through an MQTT bridge using topic-based publish and subscribe methods. |
![]() | Wake on LAN (WOL) IPPower allows you to remotely wake network devices from shutdown via the Wake on LAN (WOL) service. Enable the WOL service and wake devices using the MAC address list. Ensure that the target device supports WOL before applying this service. | ![]() | Shutdown on LAN (SOL) Improper shutdowns may lead to file system errors. IPPower includes resident software for PCs, enabling you to remotely shut down network devices via the Shutdown on LAN (SOL) service. You can configure IPPower to perform shutdown actions through the software and, after a delay, turn off the power. |
![]() | PING The PING function allows monitoring of two IPs with AND/OR logic. If a specified IP does not respond to a ping, IPPower performs a user-defined power action, such as turning an outlet on/off, power cycling, shutting down on LAN, waking on LAN, or sending an email notification. | ![]() | Scheduled Tasks The task scheduler lets you run predefined actions based on a timetable. Up to 30 schedules can be configured using a web calendar for daily, weekly, or one-time tasks. When triggered, IPPower executes user-defined power actions, such as outlet on/off, power cycling, shutdown on LAN, wake on LAN, or email notifications. |
![]() | Outlet Rotation When rotation is enabled, each outlet will power cycle in sequence and repeat at a designated interval. This can be managed directly via the website or through the scheduler. | ![]() | Modbus TCP Support IPPower supports Modbus TCP clients, enabling integration with SCADA tools for system management. |
![]() | Event Logging All events are logged on the website and sent to a Syslog host server. | ![]() | User-Definable Power Status Users can define the power status of outlets as on, off, or last known state. |
![]() | M2M Mode In machine-to-machine (M2M) mode, if you control IPPower-A, another device (IPPower-B) will replicate the same action, simplifying remote site monitoring. | ![]() | Remote Control If the CNT function is enabled, download the Android or iOS app and the Node-RED software package to control and monitor IPPower. |
![]() | VPN Client Mode IPPower can connect to a VPN router, allowing it to be controlled and monitored within the same VPN network. | ![]() | Email Notifications SMTP Function: If enabled, IPPower sends email notifications when the device status changes. POP3 Function: When enabled, IPPower can be controlled via email commands. |
