Perseus Monitoring 150

Perseus Monitoring 150 is a complex 1U solution for a 19″ rack monitoring system (data centers, AV installations). Connect external physical sensors (°C, %RH, A, V), Dry Contact detectors, or a WLD (Water Leak Detection) sensing cable. Third-party meters (sensors) can also be connected via LAN or Modbus/RTU.

Data Integration & Alerts

Perseus 150 combines data from external physical sensors and detectors with information from other HWg devices connected via LAN. Local conditions, Lua scripting, a calendar, or a periodic scheduler help analyze the measured data.

Email or SNMP Trap alerts can be sent directly from the Perseus device. Measured values are accessible via Open API (XML, Modbus-TCP, MQTT). Perseus Monitoring 150 can also be integrated with the SensDesk Technology Portal for advanced monitoring and reporting.

Meters Open API

A unique feature of the Perseus series is the Meters Open API. This allows Perseus to read sensor values over LAN from other devices (e.g., STE2 R2) and use this data for analysis or alerting.

Rack-Mounted Monitoring

Perseus Monitoring 150 is a 19″ rack-mount device designed for monitoring a data center cabinet or an entire server room. It supports up to 100 external meters (sensors) with 1000 values (variables). The 1U unit includes:

• 8 x RJ11 ports for external 1W-UNI sensors
• 16 x DI ports (dry contacts)
• 1 x WLD zone input for water leak detection
• 4 x relay outputs
• Power options: 12V, -48V, or PoE

Modbus-RTU & RS-485 Integration

With the RS-485 physical interface and Modbus-RTU Meters Open API, Perseus 150 can read data from third-party electricity meters, UPS systems, or air conditioning units.

Alerting & Automation

Perseus 150 includes a WLD zone input and four relay outputs, which can be controlled based on sensor values. This allows automation for air conditioning, ventilation, or automatic door control.

Alerting Options
